- Julie has changed her mindset to realize that you have to get a ton of 'Nos" before you get a yes.
- Recognize when you are experiencing imposter syndrome.
- You have to take the gut punch of rejection and keep going.
- Turn the negative into a positive.
- You have to have a failure rate, and take the shots.
- Evaluate and talk with other artists to see what is working for others.
- Have some friends mill about in your booth to pique interest. Do not be on your phone!
- Consider giving a survey to find out what the audience or email subscriber wants.
- Test different ways of doing things (A/B testing).

- #2 Figure out how to turn it into a positive
- Consider having a document that you can actually write what you want to say to get it out of the way (never share)
- Create a "Fabulous File" to put all of the positive things people have said about your work.
- Write down what hurt you and burn the note.
