The Christmas Story is about heaven's intervention into the history and the destiny of mankind! Mankind sinned against God in Eden and were cast out of Eden and mankind on a continuous trajectory away from God until Christ came and redeemed all. Now instead of the destiny of a lost eternity, we have eternal life in Heaven with God!
