Episode 285 of Beer, Blues, and BS delivers venue showdowns, free grocery store beer, and an incredible Blues Traveler concert rant you have to hear to believe!
Mark Kidder, Doc, and Rudeboy Kyle finish off their Midwest concert tour recap with a head-to-head comparison of Des Moines vs. Omaha. The crew dives deep into the high-flying drama of Blues Traveler's set—featuring a wild harmonica fiddle solo during "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" and frontman John Popper going on a viral-worthy rant against audience signs ("signs are worse than guns!") before begrudgingly playing a rare fan request.
Meanwhile, Howard Blues takes us back in time with a December edition of The Blues Blotter, covering everything from a "grand theft helicopter" report to a mother building a paper trail against her 13-year-old, a hostile AA meeting, and a bar patron booted for refusing to tip. Plus, Rudeboy Kyle shares how he scored a free 6-pack of PBR pounders at Hy-Vee, LCL Geek fights with an AI background generator, and the guys share heartfelt final thoughts on chosen family and being present for your kids.
