Southland: Season 4, Episode 1 "Wednesday" In the series premiere, John Cooper returns to duty and meets his new partner Jessica Tang - a tough and disciplined cop with her own set of baggage from working the streets. Lydia becomes concerned when a former confidential informant compromises his safety. Ben, Sammy and Dewey chase an armed man into a school and later Ben finds himself working with cynical street cop Danny Ferguson whose poor attitude affects their work.
