Description

In this episode, we read 2 Samuel chapters 15–17. Absalom, David’s son, wins the hearts of the people and leads a rebellion against his father, forcing David to flee Jerusalem in grief and humility. Along the way, David encounters loyalty from some and betrayal from others, while God works behind the scenes to protect him and frustrate Absalom’s plans. These chapters remind us of the cost of sin, the pain of betrayal, and the faithfulness of God to guide and protect His chosen servants even in times of deep trial.
