In this episode, we read Ezekiel chapters 9 through 12, where God’s judgment begins to unfold in sobering detail. These chapters depict the marking of the faithful, the departure of God’s glory from the temple, and the consequences of persistent rebellion.
Yet even in judgment, God continues to speak, calling His people to listen, repent, and understand the meaning of what is happening around them. This reading reminds us that God always preserves those who remain faithful, and that His presence is the greatest gift we can ever have.
