Description

In this episode, we read Lamentations chapters 1 and 2, entering into a raw and heartfelt expression of grief over the fall of Jerusalem. These chapters capture the deep sorrow, isolation, and devastation experienced by God’s people as they come face to face with the consequences of sin and judgment.

Through mourning and lament, we are reminded that God invites His people to bring their pain before Him honestly. Lamentations 1–2 teaches us that grief has a place in faith, and that even in sorrow, acknowledging God’s justice opens the door to repentance and hope.
