It goes without saying that Revelation is one of the most confusing and difficult books we have. The section where John addresses the seven churches is pretty self-explanatory, but beyond that, is John describing the present, the near future, or the distant future? Is Revelation still relevant to us today? What does God want us to gain from this book?
