Tonight, Greg discovered a diehard Cowboys fan, that was lovely, buenos nachos, a Marine in the Christmas Spirit, a Charlie Brown Christmas soundtrack, “I’m watching you, Alexa, always watching,” extra ‘stachey, resting and recuperating on furlough, that’s how it goes with children, Hampton Inn - good coffee, shopping three days before Christmas, loss prevention officers, really fatty tonkatsu, third Christmas but who’s counting, Doctor Ramen, no sake for baby, chocolate and orange don’t go together, holiday reeses the perfect ratio, Crispy Crunchy Bar, he meh’d it, wraaapped in plaaaastic, a 96hr weekend, chillin an 8 pound prime rib, Jammies & Ticket to Ride, Top Golf and banana bread, a 13-year-old mindset - I’m already there, WHAAAT?!, math is hard, why are you so broke?, who tests the very limits of my patience daily, “Peter Pan’s gots kids?”, and a few Christmas Dad jokes to tuck you warmly into bed.
