A lament for the two countries I've spent most of my life in and in whom life has got continually worse, yet whose populations keep electing those responsible like they are trapped in some nightmarish Stockholm syndrome. Meanwhile our fellow English speaking Western nations, NZ, Canada and the USA leave us for dust and progressive futures. Oh, the humanity.
