The West seems intent on supporting Ukraine in one way only, encouraging them to fight as long and hard as possible - despite only a devastating Pyrrhic victory possible, that sees Ukraine reduced to rubble. We are not good friends. Why are we not encouraging them to sue for peace? If a Russian victory that leaves sovereignty intact is inevitable - realistically - or a "victory" that destroys the country is the only other option - making a deal is the only sane option. Unfortunately the West would rather this conflict continues, just to damage Russia as much as possible, no matter the impact on Ukraine. And are the Ukrainian government - lionized relentlessly by the West - even acting on their peoples best interests, or the Wests? Why is even saying this treason?
