Life can change in an instant. That could be a scary or exciting thought, right? Every day, we are one decision, opportunity, encounter, (fill in the blank) away from a life-changing experience. In Revelation, we are reminded of the suddenness of Jesus' return. In chapter 18, the words "in an instant" are repeated to emphasize this. Knowing that he could return at any moment, wouldn't you want to be prepared to meet him? In the same way, every day bring with it the opportunity to prepare for the goodness of God. When you are willing to show up and work hard, serve and love others, and continue trusting in God, regardless of what your life currently looks like, you will be rewarded with a harvest at the proper time.
