In episode twenty, we discuss the crimes of David Carpenter, aka The Trailside Killer. This American serial killer and rapist began stalking his victims in the state parks surrounding San Francisco, CA in 1979. Carpenter's crime spree ended in 1981 when he failed to kill one of his intended victims. This victim was able to give a detailed description of his attacker, which ultimately resulted in Carpenter's arrest.
