In this week’s episode, we discuss Australian director George Miller’s new film, Three Thousand Years of Longing (2022). The film stars Tilda Swinton as Alithea, a narratologist who falls in love with a Djinn, played by Idris Elba. Although the film has received positive reviews, it has failed to recoup the vast majority of its budget.
