Jesus called us to be his disciples; not just his followers and friends, but learners, imitators, and co-workers in the mission of God. When Jesus walked along the shore of the Sea of Galilee, he called the disciples to a life of following him. He would train them, develop them, and send them out to work with him in the Great Commission.
