What happens when the veil is lifted from your understanding? In this sermon, Apostle Williams explores the connection between spiritual enlightenment and divine authority. Referencing Ephesians 1:18 and 2 Corinthians 3:14–18, he teaches that just as professional excellence comes through continuous study, turning consistently to the Word of God unveils the heart and allows believers to reflect God’s glory. He shares a powerful personal encounter where, after asking to see a cherub, an angel appeared and revealed his life’s purpose written in a book by God—illustrating how spiritual curiosity leads to revelation and accelerated progress. Through the Holy Spirit, who brings all things to those who ask in Jesus' name, believers are called to operate in full power, just as Jesus promised in John 14:12.
Apostle Williams reminds listeners that the same Holy Spirit who anointed Jesus (Acts 10:38) now dwells within them, empowering them to heal the sick, cast out devils, and perform miracles (Acts 1:1, Luke 9:1, Luke 10:1–9). This authority is not limited to apostles, as even the 72 sent out by Jesus walked in power. He emphasises that this is the year of revival and the year of the righteous, where the message of Christ must become power on the lips of believers. Miracles, signs, and wonders are not for the past—they are for now. Apostle urges believers to obey, speak boldly in the name of Jesus, and demonstrate God’s power in the streets, just as Philip did in Acts 8:4–8. It is not anointing alone, but obedience that causes demons to flee and healing to manifest. The harvest is plentiful, and the time for God’s glory to be revealed through His people is now.
