In this episode, Pastor Cindy talks about pentecost. She compares the passing of Elijiah’s mantle to Elisha to the mantle passing that took place when Jesus gave us the Holy Spirit. The beautiful thing about the mantle is that it is much bigger than the one it’s being passed to. The mantle brings weight. It brings power and authority. It brings a responsibility to carry out a purpose far greater than we could ever imagine attempting on our own. No matter how inadequate you think you are or how unprepared you may seem to be, God sees you as worthy to carry the torch. It’s time to burn bright.
