In this episode, Pastor Cindy talks about how the church needs to have a revival mindset. She defines Revival as to return to consciousness or life or to become active or flourishing again. And mindset, as a mental attitude or inclination. Revival is an event in the mindset of the church. When we see the multifaceted outpouring of God in familiar ways and unusual ways, it revives us — it heals us, it refreshes us, it resets us, it recharges us and it stirs our hunger for what God is doing.
Jesus thought of revival as a lifestyle. He saw what they needed and revived to what they need.We are carriers of his presence - we are an extension of the revival that person needs. It is not about missing something, it is about understanding something. Jesus provided the opportunity for everyone He encountered to be changed. Whether they chose it or not. He was the change agent for whoever encountered Him. We should be the change agent for Jesus with whoever we encounter.
