In this episode, City Club of Eugene looks at the intersection of learning construction trades and lifting people out of homelessness. Constructing a Brighter Future teaches construction techniques to high school students by having them build housing. The program is provided by state and federal funding, and the results are heartwarming as well as immediately useful.
