This week Sheila Glass, otherwise known as my mum, challenges the rules by giving 2 songs for the collection. She also tells her stories of kindness and wisdoms learnt. Sheila is an incredibly community spirited person, we talk about the challenge of changing the status quo, and not always accepting the way things are as the only option available. We also talk about how small gestures such as friendly phone calls or an offer of help with shopping can make a real difference in generating a sense of community and connection. Something that I think we're all craving right now.
