The series starts out strong with ruins of Junius 7 raining down on the Earth and Blue Cosmos exercising their quick nuclear trigger finger. However, we then nosedive into a rapid tailspin as Cagalli says yes to the dress, Jesus Yamato returns by sacrificing the entire new cast, Heine shows up just to die, Rey wastes our screen time, N-Jammer Cancellers disappear without a mention, and everyone refuses to use basic forms of communication to solve their problems. Come aboard our Destiny documentary flight, but bring your parachute because we are going down.
