She was named “Female Entrepreneur of the Year” through the Women Business Owners of Manitoba, as well as “Volunteer of the Year” through the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce, and most recently named “Top 5 North American Trailblazers” through the RevolutionHer Awards in 2021. She was a 2019 Spirit of Winnipeg Award winner in the trade category as well as “Best Small Business of the Year Award” from the 2020 Tourism Winnipeg Awards of Distinction. Her largest accolade to date came in early 2021, when Amanda was named a G20 YEA Canadian Delegate for the global G20 Summit hosted by Milan/Rome which will focus on COVID-19 socio economic recovery, as well as a global renaissance, for inclusive, sustainable, and innovative prosperity. ----more----
Amanda’s leadership and commitment to the small business community are evident as she is a current Board Member for the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce, was Co-Chair of The Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce 2019/2020 Small Business Advisory Council, and was also one of two Chamber representatives chosen to sit on the Mayor of Winnipeg’s COVID-19 Business Task Force, established in March 2020, to advise on the COVID-19 related impacts felt by the Winnipeg business community. ----more----
