MEET DR. AMANDA PHOON NGUYEN
She is a Perth Oral medicine specialist, PhD candidate, Adjunct Senior Lecturer at the University of Western Australia, and Consultant at Perth Children’s Hospital. She is passionate about oral medicine, and her professional roles include co-chair of the Australasian Sleep Association Dental Sleep Medicine Council, on the Board of Studies in Oral Medicine, Editor and Examiner of RACDS, and is Treasurer of ADA WA.
She is secretary of the RACDS WA, Vice President of the Dental Specialists Society of WA, Treasurer of the IADR Perth region, and on many other committees. She represents her specialty at several multidisciplinary meetings and at the Ehlers Danlos Society. Her other roles include Director of a not-for-profit Foundation focused on cancer research, and is a mascot with the Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation.
