Free in Christ; that’s a great statement and a great truth for those who know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. Because of Christ’s sacrifice, we understand that we are free from the penalty and power of sin over our lives. But, is our freedom unrestricted?
This week, in our series “Crossroads,” we’re in 1 Corinthians chapter 8 where the Apostle Paul is going to discuss Christian liberty. Earlier in 1 Corinthians, Paul addressed various false teachings and ideas that had infiltrated the church. As we’ll see in chapter 8, Paul wants us to understand that while there is liberty in Christ, that doesn’t mean we are unrestricted.
