Following Jesus was never meant to be comfortable. In this homily, we are reminded that living the truth of the Gospel requires courage—especially when that truth challenges the world around us and even those we love. Like Saint Stephen, we are called to speak the truth in love, trusting that real love may sometimes cause discomfort. This reflection invites us to ask for the grace of holy courage: to live our faith without fear, to lovingly challenge when necessary, and to remain faithful even when it costs us.
