This week we're covering an indie-arthouse classic from an artist who put everything on the line to make his films. It's John Cassavettes' THE KILLING OF A CHINESE BOOKIE (#18 on the board). Finally back to one of the original dartboard selections, this one challenged us and makes for one of the more impenetrable films we've ever covered. If you despise the fluff of normal Hollywood filmmaking, this might get your attention, as it breaks ALL the rules.
