Join me chatting to Gillian Allard, winner of Sky Arts Master of Photography, about being visible on social media and feeling uncomfortable with putting herself out there.

Visibility is something that Gillian has never been interested in, particularly after being on TV, but with the help of business coaching she's recognised that there are many drawbacks to NOT being visible, and that this can be just as hard as actually being visible.

This coaching has helped Gillian to manage, rather than fight with, the sabotage voice that tries to keep her hidden.

This is an experience for many many photographers when they're starting out.  You want to showcase your work, and you want to earn a decent living from it.  But very often the thought of having to put yourself out there too is terrifying. Worry about what people might think, or being judged is a big thing for creatives, because it's bad enough that we judge ourselves.

What are your experiences and challenges with being visible and putting yourself out there?  I'd love to hear from you, so be in touch.

Of if you feel you can relate to all of this and would benefit from coaching, be in touch, I'd love to work with you.  I'm here for photographers starting out on their journey from amateur to professional.

Until next time.  Lots of love ❤️
