The status of the nouveau-riche Lovell House is precarious among the esteemed Esultare. The Ball is everything. Three highly-skilled retainers of the House, the Nightingale, the Magpie and the Sparrow will have to sink their talons into the other Houses to force their attendance. It is their job to get their hands dirty, bloody, or dipped in magic.
