In this episode we discuss pregnancy related prosecutions. We focus on Marshae Jones, a Black woman who was charged with manslaughter after her unborn baby was killed when she was shot in the abdomen during an altercation. 

And we highlight author Dorothy Roberts and her book Killing the Black Body: Race, Reproduction and the Meaning of Liberty, which examines the reproductive rights of Black women in the U.S.
