In our first of many Sister Sessions, Tamara Walker, a history professor at the University of Toronto, and I chat with Funke Aladajebi -- also at the University of Toronto -- about the joys, challenges, and pitfalls of traveling while Black. In this first segment, we talk Western privilege, drama in Bali for LGBTQ+ African Americans, as well as the positive aspects of being Black.
A special thanks to Tamara and the members of the UT community who supported this chit and chat. :-)
