Yorktown, TX is a small town located on Texas highway 72. This town has an extensive history, dating all the way back to the 1840s. As the town grew, the need for a closer medical facility was imminent, which prompted the opening of Yorktown Memorial Hospital in 1951. Like many hospitals before modern medicine, Yorktown Memorial was no stranger to rumors of malpractice. Although not confirmed, it is said the hospital had almost 2000 deaths within its 35 years of operation, which averages to one death a week….in a town of a small population as it is. All of this rumored death led to stories and even sightings of ghostly figures and the hearing of disembodies voices haunting the corridors. From ghostly children to the nuns who ran the hospital, these spirits are said to be alive within the walls, whether malevolent or harmless. Join us as we go over the mysteries of Yorktown Memorial Hospital. Is it truly haunted by the ghosts of its past?
