Snarl, Stabman, Xyfiel, and Roscoe finally arrive in Vermeillon after defeating the triplet-hungry harpy. Remembering their promise to Lukas, they pay their respects to his late wife on his behalf. Still searching for Danger, the spookening turns up to 11 as an invisible menace hounds them. After dealing with the threat with the help of a surprise ally, and informing the Chronologist scribes to stay safe in the mayor's mansion, the group heads into the platinum mine. However, they are not prepared for what they find. . .
