Directed by Panos Cosmatos, the episode stars Peter Weller as Lionel Lassiter, a wealthy recluse, who has invited a small group of people to something called "the viewing." Among the guests in attendance are Charlotte (Charlene Yi), an astrophysicist, and Randall (Eric André), a musician, who come to realize that being "chosen" by Lassiter entails much more than they initially thought... Join us as we chat about collection and consumption, how race might figure into the power dynamics of the group, and the state of film and streaming viewership today.
