065 - 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple, Dir. Nia DaCosta
In 2002, 28 Days Later made Zombies scary again. They were faster, more relentless, and stronger than any other franchise, redefining what made "Zombies" scary. With a low budget, Danny Boyle was able to create a very scary atmosphere with a wonderful cast of characters with a wonderful end sequence with an iconic score thats stretched over every film since. 2007 brought us 28 Weeks Later with a bigger budget and larger scope of the outbreak with a bigger cast and more action.
2025 brings us 28 Years later- the first film in a planned Trilogy that rewrites some of the rules of the universe and undoes much of the good that the original gave us. 2026 brings us The Bone Temple- a very divisive 2nd installment in the 28 Years Later Trilogy.
