Brett has been married for 23 years, has two kids and was a teacher with the Toronto District School Board for 10 years before moving into speaking full-time back in 2005. He travels North America speaking to teens, young adults, leaders, and parents on topics including parenting, mental health, men, sexuality, pornography, dating, and media. Build an Authentic Relationship With Your Child

The Pressure to Conform

- Conforming is usually status quo and that is usually mediocrity
Slow Parenting

- Take a slower pace so we don't miss the day-to-day things
- Find things to do together and enjoy them

- Follow people you don't agree with to get a different perspective
- Use it to sharpen you and challenge your viewpoint
