This week was a fantastical one at Friday Night Movie: Steve Kostanski, the director of Shai’s current horror-comedy obsession, PG Psycho Goreman, joined the sibs for an interview! Steve talked about the magic of practical special effects, his chemistry with frequent collaborator Adam Brooks and the Astron 6 crew, and the importance of PG having a soundtrack that ROCKED as hard as Queen. Then they did a classic compare-a-thon of horror movie masters, and some buy/rent/meh (with He-Man, NInja Turtles, and Thundercats). The PG Psycho Goreman Blu Ray drops on March 16 and you can pre-order it here: https://www.amazon.com/Brooks-Alexis-Hancey-Nita-Josee-Hanna/dp/B08Q9VZRDV
Special shoutout this week to the And So I Stayed crowd-funding campaign. Help this support this powerful project about survivors of abuse.
Also, a shoutout also goes to Antonia Carlotta and her Universally Me YouTube page about the history of Hollywood. Antonia’s Phantom of the Opera history video is excellent!
