Welcome to the Authentic Dad Podcast!  I'm David Waranch and I coach and support fathers on having a greater impact in the world, living on their own terms, and flourishing in their relationships. (Where we think it matters most).

Today, I'm joined by Matt Wilbur. Matt is the Founder and Head Coach of the The Fitness Rebellion.

Growing up, Matt  was a skinny, goofy kid who got beat up & bullied, which was what initially sparked his interest in lifting weights. He soon became obsessed with strength training and bodybuilding, pouring over information for hours on end, and methodically tracking my progress.

This eventually led Matt to start competing in bodybuilding in 2012 shortly after he had begun dating his wife, Megan. He's since competed in over 9 shows & earned several placings making me a national qualified athlete.

Coaching others is his passion and more rewarding to him to help someone else achieve success with their health & fitness than his own personal fitness wins.
