Stephen King's The Monkey has been brought to life this year in Oz Perkins, The Monkey.
The short story was first published in 1980 as a booklet and then added to a compilation of King's stories in Skeleton Crew(1985).
A movie that was clearly influenced by his story was The Devil's Gift (1984).
It was even a Dollar Baby and a short film released in 2023.
