In this first message of a three-part series, Bro. Alan begins the series in the seventh chapter of Joshua. After a tremendous victory at Jericho and another battle that should have been easy, Joshua and the children of Israel suffer a massive defeat at Ai. As the passage unfolds, we begin to see some applications that can be made in Israel's struggle against Ai and the Christian's battle against sin. Someone brought the accursed thing into the camp of Israel, and Israel struggled in its battle against the Canaanites. In the life of a Christian, sin can keep us from having the joy and blessing the Lord desires us to have.
