Description

In this message, Brother Alan Simmons concludes this series with the final part of a four-part series with a look at that unspeakable gift given by God to the world. For each of the other parts of this series, we've shared how in John 3:16-18, that gift given has been the source of our salvation. That first Christmas was about Jesus coming to seek and to save that which was lost (Luke 19:10). As Bro. Alan shows us through scripture in this final installment, there is so much of our relationship with the Lord that depended on the reality of that first Christmas. The woman at the well wasn't there to witness the first Christmas, but she believed in what it did for her. We are much like her; we were not there to see the shepherds bowing at the manger or the wise men bringing gifts to the infant king, but we know what that first Christmas - and the gift of salvation it brought to the world - means to us.

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.   Isaiah 9:6
