Description

Today on the show Gibbs talks with Team Lancaster Thunder about lessons he has been learning from the olympics about effort and engagement of hard tasks. Gibbs shares how Jessie Diggins inspired him with her tenacious effort overcoming a bruised rib to win bronze in Italy, he was enthralled by Johannes Klaebo as he stormed a steep hill on his way to Olympic gold. Cross country skiing has been a new enjoyment for Gibbs in the world of sports. Witnessing their maximum effort and devotion to their craft reminded Gibbs of Philippians 2 and Jesus devotion to his task of saving sinners from their sins and coming as a servant pouring himself out unto death. Are we taking our responsibilities and missions seriously like these examples in sport, and most important the example of Christ? Gibbs has been examining his heart about where he might be coasting? How about you? Is your effort and engagement maxing out? Go Make PLAYS! Remember we are "NOT JUST FANS"!
