As John concludes the prologue, he finally identifies the Word. The One who was with the Father took on flesh to make God known to humanity.

Big Idea: The Word became flesh in order to make God known to us.

1. Jesus made God known by becoming human and dwelling among us (14a)
2. Jesus made God known by revealing God's glory (14b-15)
3. Jesus made God known by granting us grace and truth (16-17)
4. Jesus made God known by explaining Him to us (18)
