Description

A sermon by Pastor Yan Kislitsa from Ephesians 5:25-32

Today we are looking at one of the most "painful" activities in believers' lives - forgiveness. Forgiveness is based on the belief that God has forgiven our sins through faith in the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ (1 John 2:2), and therefore, we should now forgive others. Yet, admittedly, it is a difficult task. It is much easier to receive forgiveness than to grant forgiveness to someone who has wronged you.

Theme: Forgiveness is the new currency among the redeemed by Christ

  1. Be Honest: Tell the truth with one another (25)
  2. Be Patient: Control your anger among one another (26-27)
  3. Be Generous: Work so you may give to one another (28)
  4. Be Uplifting: Speak to build one another (29-30)
  5. Be Kind: Overcome one another with kindness (31-32)
