Halfway through the meal, Jesus transforms the last Passover into the first Supper, and its significance is hard to overemphasize. Jesus provides His disciples with a lens through which they can make sense of the cross. He offers them a framework that will guide their lives and solidify their mission after His resurrection.
Big Idea: Communion is a Gospel celebration of our complete forgiveness, united fellowship, and glorious future.
