We rest because we grow tired and need to be replenished. But why did God rest after six days of creation? His rest reveals something about His character, establishes a pattern for our lives, and points beyond itself to something far greater.
Big Idea: Because God’s work was finished, His rest establishes a rhythm for our lives and points to our ultimate rest in Christ.
