Producing Good Fruit
In the Bible, producing good fruit refers to a believer's outward actions, character, and righteous deeds that demonstrates a life transformed by faith in Jesus Christ and the work of the Holy Spirit. It's a relationship with Christ that produces visible results, it's acts of love, joy, kindness, etc. As we will see in Scripture today, good fruit is always the result of an inner spiritual condition which takes place at salvation, when a seed (the Word of God) was planted in our hearts and we allowed it to increase or grow. Anyone will know that a seed before it is planted will not be of any value, but anyone who plants a seed expects it to produce fruit. In Scripture the seed represents the Word of God and soil represents a person's heart. In the natural the better the soil is prepared the better chance the seed has to grow. In the Spiritual realm it's the same, the better we prepare our hearts to receive the Word the more fruit we will produce. God doesn't desire to waste any good seed so let's prepare our hearts to produce good fruit that proves to the world around us Who lives in our hearts!
