Description

Happening this week! Anna’s upcoming book, Getting Back to You is coming out September 17th!

In this deeply personal episode of Monday Morning Mojo, Anna shares an excerpt from Chapter 8 of her new book, Getting Back to You, and opens up about her own experience of realizing that survival, high performance, and constantly pushing forward had quietly become an operating system she no longer needed.

She explores the difference between functioning well and actually being well, and how easy it is for high-achieving women to become so capable at carrying responsibility that they stop noticing what it is costing them.

Anna also introduces the idea of absorption, what happens when we unconsciously take on the energy, behaviors, communication styles, and expectations of the environments around us. While adaptation can be an important part of growth, there comes a point when adapting without awareness can move us further away from our authentic selves.

The book releases September 17 and will be available in paperback, hardcover, and Kindle, with an audiobook also in the works.
