Welcome to Part Two of Sun Days, a study of the recordings done by Elvis Presley at the now legendary Sun Studio in Memphis Tn.
In Part One I covered the recordings he did, along with Guitarist Scotty Moore and Bassist Bill Black, in the tiny studio at 706 Union Avenue between June 1953 and November 1954.
In this second episode I throw the spotlight on the tracks he did in his final year at Sun, before Sam sold his contract to RCA in November 1955.
