Even when self-harm feels like your only outlet, there is a path toward healing and hope. In this episode of A Door of Hope, Kay and Kerry explore why self-harm happens and how the healing journey can begin by permitting yourself to be an imperfect, yet perfectly loved, child of the King. They share Biblical insights on overcoming self-contempt, managing intrusive thoughts, breaking free from the prison of perfectionism, and claiming victory over the inner battles that often come with complex trauma.

About the Hosts:
Kay Tolman and Kerry Hansher are both survivors of Satanic Ritual Abuse (SRA). Beginning in childhood, the ritualistic trauma they endured led to a long and difficult journey toward healing, marked by struggles with anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, and dissociative identity disorder (DID). Through many years of walking in healing and restoration with the Lord, Kay and Kerry have found freedom—and now dedicate their lives to helping other survivors who have been ignored, shamed, or ridiculed. Using the freedom God has given them, they offer hope, understanding, and practical support to those navigating this deeply complex and often misunderstood trauma.
