Description

Her case inspired the 2005 film "The Exorcism of Emily Rose." Anneliese Michel was a young woman from Germany whose quiet, faithful life took a terrifying turn when she began hearing voices and seeing dark figures no one else could. Doctors called it epilepsy; her family eventually believed it was possession. What followed became one of the most haunting true stories of the century.
